ThrottleStop
ThrottleStop is a small program designed to regulate the voltage supplied to the processor and its operating frequency. It is considered a good alternative to the proprietary utility Intel Extreme Tuning Utility (XTU). If you have problems with XTU, you can switch to the simpler ThrottleStop application.
Instructions for using ThrottleStop
The utility is controlled through 4 ready-made tools with already made settings – Perfomance, Battery, Game, Internet. A tab for changes in equipment temperature is displayed on the right.
Throttling can be used both to increase the frequency and voltage of the machine to maximum values, and to minimize parameters. Commands to reduce the load should be set in order to prolong the operation of the battery or if the coolers on the PC are broken and the cooling system has stopped working.
It is recommended to overclock the system only if the device has powerful cooling coolers.
After the first launch, a start window will appear with data about CPU.
First you need to set the undervoltage parameters using the slider, and the values of Offset Voltage and CPU Core must match.
